Abigail Lavergne is an education major at Mississippi State University whose research analyzes questions of identity, opportunity, and belonging that emerge when examining the evolving concept of the American Dream. As a future educator, her goal is to spark a desire for civic and ethical awareness while inspiring curiosity and empathy in her students. Abigail hopes to cultivate kindness and compassion in the hearts of those she encounters in the classroom.
